Anyways, hope you all enjoy your respective holidays, and I'll see you back here on Monday.

monday!? i can't wait that long, i'm addicted!
I had those shoes.
Merry Christmas Russ. I hope a lot of kids both big and small get their BMX on for the holidays.
I still catch that feeling every time i ride.
It is not that hard to do.
that bike actually looks really sick! tan walls plus the hollow mags= win
nice v-bars and plastic seat you trendy old man. :)
I think all I have left from that bike are the seatpost clamp and the owner's manual.
Took the Ed out for a quick spin in the same general area this morning. Still felt like Christmas.
ssnakebite: And look how fat that front tire is! I think it was technically a 2.125", but it sure looks bigger.
Later on, that bike got white Skyway E-Z bars, Skyway pegs, Mike Buff Z-Rims, gold Maxy-Cross cranks, a GT layback...I don't even know what else. Comp II big and littles. Eventually the frame gussets cracked and I think the forks bent.
does anyone remember the kink side pipe? was it the first ever taiwanese made kink, or the last american made kink?
soon enough we're gonna be asking what was the last American made frame ever, regardless of brand.
The Kink Sidepipe was Dirty Dan Bogard's signature frame. I really liked that frame. When it first came out its 5 lb weight seemed extremely light, now its the norm or even heavy by some standards. It was made at BREW bikes in North Carolina and is probably one of the last of the USA made Kink frames. I don't recall seeing a Taiwanese version.
May Ling welds better than drunken mexicans
sweet thanks jason
S&M, Fit, Solid, Terrible One, FBM, and Liquor are the only companies that still sell American-made frames.

That picture doesn't look like Christmas...There's no snow.
I hate snow just as much as any other biker, but come on, Christmas just ain't Christmas without a meter of snow and temperatures in the -30s!!
God I love Canada!
Antoine, Standard does in-house frames.
Iowa is not considered part of the US anymore anonymous, besides nobody has cared about Standard since 2003 at the latest.
DEAD BLOG.
Go love jesus.
Liqour and Solid don't count, Fit is only 50%, T1 and FBM are poised to move overseas...S&M is the only legit one left.
I doubt this is the Cadillac of bmx bikes. http://www.amazon.com/Cadillac-Escalade-20-Inch-Freestyle-White/dp/B000LEG15S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1230397508&sr=1-1
FBM is not moving their in-house production anywhere.
They found Santas skeleton in a chimney in New Jersey in 1927
This photo is of Russ at 18 months old. Russ is 9 feet tall!
why the hate on standard?
hey russ, i can't email you, but i have a great idea for a rant. I noticed what i think is Rick Thorne in a trailer for the new moive 'mall cop'. tear a strip out of him please.
This blog has not talked shit any person, only companies and parts. Well, I guess there was a snide Wildman reference.
I can understand not wanting to take it to a personal level like that, but you are missing out on a wealth of material.
ice money?
I've got no problem with Rick Thorne.
Ripping Rick Thorne is so 2001.
that's rooftop.
