Vacation

(photo blatantly swiped from Pinkbike.com)

For some reason I never seem to realize I'm taking a hiatus until I'm already hiatusing. Then I glance at bmxfeed and see "14d" under "last update" and think, "holy hell, it's been that long?" Once again, I'm not entirely sure how it happened. There was a short hop to the Left Coast in there somewhere, but that doesn't begin to explain how I missed nearly a week beforehand (and a couple of days afterfoot). Fortunately, I didn't even have to use my AK. So, regular reader, I apologize. Again.

As it is, I'd rather come back with something of a proper (foreshadow conspiracy?) update tomorrow. So consider this notice that I'll be taking two weeks off, effective two weeks ago.

Sorry! I'd say it won't ever happen again, but that would probably be a total lie.

And yes, lots to catch up on.

My girlfriend looked at the new T-1 and said, "looks like the Ultimate Male had a misstep."

I am reserving judgment until I see the Barcode.

If it was anything but a T1 everyone would be howling about how shitty that thing looks. And the guy was saying Solid, not T1. But really, angled, capped seat stays and straight, uncapped chain stays? 12" BB height? God awful, sloppy fucking welds?

I don't give a shit if Joe Rich stuck the filler rod up his urethra before they used it to weld this frame, the craftsmanship is garbage.

Solids pretty notorious for fucking up custom frames.

Hey anonymous 5:14 pm, Can you weld? Lay a four foot bead without a single hiccup around a thin walled tube with little to no clearance in some areas then come back and say something.

Those welds AREN'T THAT BAD. There are VARIOUS reasons and variables that determine the integrity of the welds.

I can easily lay down AT LEAST 20 reasons alone other than the welds other than SLIGHTLY inconsistent bead appearance. If you can't list even SOME of these reasons because of your
apparent ignorance, please, STFU and stay inside TCUB or BMXF posting nonsensical ignobable!
