(Disg)Race

I love looking at BMX stuff on eBay. New or old, it doesn't matter.

A simple search for the term "BMX" brought up 8,397 items today. Of course that includes lots of barely BMX stuff like this and this, but there's never any shortage of awesome.

Like this:

ATTN: Tall, weight-weenie, old schoolers.

Ignore the "race" designation (a race frame with a standing platform?) and just think of it as a 4.5 pound Standard Lengthier. For $100, how can you go wrong?

Honestly? It doesn't get more SPRFLS than this. Amazing.

I believe the "eBay auction of the week" shall become a regular feature. An "eBay auction of the day" would be better, perhaps, but I don't get paid enough for that.

i'd ride that with pride

But I'm a vegetarian.

I'd have a boner and a heart attack at the same time eating the bacon mat.

If I were a heart doctor, I would have that at the front door of my mansion.

Some guy here in Knoxville is selling a PK Ripper complete for 700 dollars.

I am all, "who in the hell are these fucking people and how do I miss them in a city this small?!"

i'd say no to the 'ebay auction of the week' or 'day', thats a little bikesnob-ish, isn't it?

I don't think bikesnob can claim all of eBay. And he barely acknowledges BMX. There's a lot of possibilty and a lot of superfluousness there.

We'll see.

BS, it’s your new fucking frame. Pole smoker.

That's not a standing platform. It's where you put the bacon mat.

I respectfully submit that pointing out the obvious is sprfls. This blog is at its best when it is pointing out the the sprflsnss of the respected companies' respective parts. This was too easy.
As such, I think that the eBay regular feature might be reconsidered.

Russ,

What do you think of George French?

Is he a legit guy? Should I trust him and his products? Is he a genuinely nice guy or is he in it for them money?

Thanks

a burnt finger, beef & bacon log could only be better if it were cheese injected. that one little upgrade would turn it into sort of a hill-billy Twinkie.

Aw Wade, lighten up. I don't have time to surf ebay for ridiculous stuff, but when it's presented to me, I'm as entertained as the next guy. On the matter of SPRFLS ebay find of the week, I vote yes.

a standing platform on a race frame is as about as un-needed (spfls) as it gets.

I think you could make that bacon log healthier by rolling a single stalk of asparagus in the center.

WHOA! step aside for little Mister Health Freak. jeez, Russ, way to suck all the fun out of an impending heart attack.

*hastily reconsiders*

Or a Slim Jim!

I am assuming the asparagus would be breaded and fried....?

Russ already said he's copying bikesnob, he just doesn't have to be so gay about it.

Friday quizzes?

Only weekday postings?

At least the ebay thing is entertaining beyond 2008-2009's bullshit.
