Just Because

Sometimes I can't help but wonder what Bill Hicks would make of the past 15 years. In hindsight, maybe he's better off dead.

    The only thing dated about his rants are the people he's talking about- everything else is still just as fucked up as he told us it was. Brilliant, and completely underappreciated, except by people like Denis Leary, who stole his act almost completely.

    Russ, you should do a throw-back SPRFLS post about all the crazy superfluous stuff during the mid-school time between 1990-2000...

    do you know one of the highlights of my bass playing career was playing on a stage that Bill Hicks performed on? Love that guy, and he's kept me in check on many levels. Still haven't taken his advice on mushrooms yet though.
